WhatsApp has recently rolled out a new beta update which comes with a bunch of new features including Group Catch-up, Member Search and More Admin Controls.
Group Description
Group Description can be anything, it's where an admin explains that what the group is about, set guidelines etc. It allows the admin to set specific rules for that particular group which is then displayed at the top so that each participant is aware about it.
Participant Search
Basically, this feature allows you to find members of the group more easily. This will make it more convenient to start conversations with other people separately.
Group Catch-Up
Tired of finding important messages from the group, which is loaded with a lot of unuseful messages.
Don't worry, this new feature will easily help you out. The new @ button helps you check all the messages in which their name has been mentioned or if someone has replied to their message. It is a really handy and useful feature which will save you some time.
Admin Controls
Admin Controls allows the admin to stop participants from changing the group name, title, description repetitively. You can find this feature under Group settings --> Edit Group info there you will find an option to choose who can edit the group settings.
