How To Get Dark Mode On The Youtube App: iYTBP

Almost a month back Youtube came with its new dark mode, although this feature is not yet available on Smartphones. But don't worry we have got you covered!

What is Dark Mode?

Essentially Dark Mode was introduced to keep your eyes protected while you are using it in Dark. The Dark background puts less strain on your eye thus keeping it protected. Today many popular websites and apps are coming up with the dark mode.

What is iYTBP

So to get it you will have to download an application called iYTBP.

 iYTBP is a modded version of the YouTube app, which looks and feel exactly like the official app but comes with some additional features. iYTBP is based upon the source code of popular Xposed module – YouTube Background Playback, this feature till now wasn't available for non-rooted devices, but with help of this app it is! There are a lot more other modded apps available but this one is far more better than the others because its ad free and also comes with the Dark Theme. The app works smoothly and all of its features like playing music in background work well. Although app has its own flaws, it sometimes lags and gets a bit slower also there is no support to download videos straight from the app which could have been  a great addition!

How to install it?

Now the installation process is a bit complex but it can be made simpler if you follow all the steps correctly.

To get iYTBP on a non-rooted Android device, you need to install 2 files.

• Modded version of YouTube app which is iYTBP (Link to download it given below)

• MicroG for YouTube, this app is needed to sign in to your YouTube account.

1. First install MicroG for YouTube. 

1. Then install the modded Youtube which is the iYTBP app. 

1. Now, open the new modded YouTube app and sign by going to the settings.

1. You can now, make the new YouTube app as default and disable the previous one.

Now once you have downloaded the files follow these steps to get the Youtube Dark Mode
