iPhone 8 is not the iPhone Apple was expecting it to be
Apple released the iPhone 8 around a month ago which makes the phone new till date however its sales patterns already aren’t compelling enough to match its predecessors. The iPhone 8 was not all that different from the iPhone 7 but was more of a spec bump with the latest Apple A11 bionic chip which we will even see in the upcoming iPhone X and support of wireless charging. The rest are minor spec bumps in the areas of camera and display with the only difference in the exterior being the all new glass back for the wireless charging which also makes the new iPhone more delicate with the back vulnerable.
Recent reports show that the iPhone 7 is outselling the iPhone 8 which has never been seen before. This makes us wonder are these iPhones that similar and also is the iPhone 8 really not worth the money.
This also the first time apple is still selling a 2-year old iPhone the 6S which alone tells good the 6S was and how much more competitive these iPhones are than we think. The problems with the iPhone 8 are the facts that - It still carries majorly the same design that of the iPhone
6 which is 3 years old now.
-iPhone X is coming out so many people are just willing to wait to have the latest and best iPhone therefore are sticking to their older iPhones.
-Its not in par with the competition as phones like the Note 8 and the flagship killer Oneplus 5 have proven to be faster in terms of both processing speeds and memory management.
-It was recently released in some test that the S8 and the S8 plus scored 81 out of 100 while the iPhone tied up with the old S7 with a score of 80 out of hundred something which is not expected from the latest iPhone
Now we will have to wait and watch what impact the iPhone X has on the market.
