So after all the leaks and rumours floating around, now everything is officially official! The iPhone 10 also know as the iPhone X is finally here! It packs in some great features which are looking at but also has its own cons! So here is everything you need to know about the iPhone X!

Display

So it all starts with gorgeous display upfront, this time the iPhone X goes completely bezel-less and its design language is pretty similar to the Essential phone.  Apple has included an edge-to-edge display to cover the entire front of the phone other than a couple of sensors. It comes with a 5.8 inch super retina display with a resolution of 2436×1125. For the first time, it has an OLED panel with a density of 458 PPI. The OLED panel should be superior compared to any other display that we’ve seen in the past. It has HDR and Supports Dolby vision with HDR 10.
Since the iPhone x has  a bezel-less display and there is no room for a home button Apple this year decided to completely eliminate the home button in favour of a number of hand gestures with which you will be able to perform multitasking, going back and going home. Apart from picking up the phone, you can tap the screen once to wake up your device.  Also Apple very own assistant Siri can be activated by long pressing on the power button.
Face ID

So as Apple completely ditched the home button (fingerprint sensor) it comes with new way to unlock and secure your device namely Face ID  as the name suggests you can unlock your phone with your face. Now we know there have been many devices in the past which used Face Unlocking as their primary method to unlock the smartphone and none of them has been very accurate. One good for this the Galaxy S8, yeah it does come with a fingerprint sensor although their face recognition wasn't good at all. Now I am really hoping that Apple's Face ID turns out to be accurate. To make it possible it has a true depth camera system which includes an array of sensors to make the face id work. To name some, it has an infrared camera, flood illuminator, dot projector along with the regular sensors.
Apple has built an entirely new neural engine to process the data coming from these sensors. It will be able to perform 600 billion operations per second. Just like AI, it learns more about your face every time you use it to unlock your smartphone. It can even recognise you if you’ve had a haircut or had a makeover of your face. There is a 1 in a million chance to unlock iPhone X by someone other than you compared to a 1 in 50000 chances in touch id. All the process is done on the iPhone itself and not sent to apple for security purposes. Apple pay has rolled out support for face ID. Third party support is expected to come on the way.
Animojis
Animojis, which comes from Animated & Emoji which basically means emoji's with some kind of animation.  Once you open the Animoji option it tracks your face live and sends the required Animoji on iMessage. You’ve got a bunch of options to choose from starting from a dog, rabbit, a unicorn and much more. With the help of all the sensors present at the front which forms the face ID, it tracks your face and makes a customised Animoji to convey your feelings in a better way.
Camera

iPhone X is water and dust resistant. It has a 12MP dual camera with dual OIS just like the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 along with Quad LED two tone flash. Dual OIS should deliver incredible low light images and stability in videos. The only difference is in the telephoto lens where the iPhone 8 plus has f/2.8 while the iPhone X has an aperture of  f/2.4. Also, portrait mode selfies! What? Okay, so the new iPhones can take a selfie in portrait mode.
Processor
They are all powered by an A11 bionic chip with 6 cores which include 2 powerful cores and 4 efficient cores. Battery life lasts 2 hours more than the iPhone 7 although the number wasn’t specified. It has a polished stainless steel band with some glass in order to support wireless charger. The new iPhones also include Qi wireless charging standard for wireless charging.
Apple also launched a charging pad which can charge the new iPhones, Apple Watch and the case of Airpods which is known as Airpower. Apple has updated the case of Airpods to support wireless charging so that it can be charged on the new charging pad.
Availability
iPhone X comes in two configurations of 64GB and 256GB and starts at $999. Colour options include space grey and silver. You can order the phone on October 27 and shipping starts on November 3. In India, the 64 GB is priced at ₹89,000 while the 256 GB variant is priced at ₹1,02,000. What do you think about the prices of iPhone X?
