The Nokia Flagship- How far can it get?

Nokia recently announced their flagship smartphone the Nokia 8. The Nokia 8 is placed above the 3,5 and 6 which are the budget oriented (3,5) and the mid ranged (6) device. The phone has is powered by the Snapdragon 835 and has a dual camera like most flagships of 2017.

Specs

The phone features the Snapdragon 835 coupled with 4GB of RAM and a dual camera setup. The display is not bezel-less but the resolution at quad HD is pretty good. The phone features a fingerprint scanner in the home button and two capacitive buttons on the sides. Its a good looking phone and feels premium when holding it. The phone has all the specs you would expect in a flagship.

Price

HMD Global’s flagship Nokia 8 is will be priced at around 599 Euros which places it very close to the current flagships of HTC and Samsung which somehow is not in the favour of the Nokia 8 as all the other flagships in this segment offer something special like a bezel-less display and other kinds of gimmicks while this phone has none of that.

Conclusion

The Nokia 8 is a great phone with top specs however it is slightly over-priced and its competitors offer more when it comes to features which could result in the sales of this and it is also not the best phone when it comes to camera as the cameras of last year’s Google Pixel is still one of the best and the HTC U11 also has a great camera.
