Big is Back! Just a while back Xiaomi unveiled their new device Xiaomi Mi Mix 2. It was launched today in Delhi, India. The phone is already launched it in China 2 months back & here is everything you need to know about the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2.

Display
The display on the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 is 6.4 inch IPS LCD display with a pixel density of 342 pixels. The display supports multi touch and comes with the Corning Gorilla Glass 4 for protection. The display has 74% of screen to body ratio which in my opinion could have been better. There are huge bezels at the top and bottom in the device.
Camera
The camera on the Mi Mix 2 which is located right at the top right has a 12 Megapixels Sony Sensor with an aperture of f/2.2. The camera on the Mi Mix 2 has less megapixels count in comparison to its predecessor Mi Mix which had a 16MP sensor. Other features like phase detection auto focus and dual tone dual led flash are present here. The primary camera can shoot videos upto 4k at 30 frames per second. The secondary camera is 5 Megapixel camera with an aperture of f/2.0
Processor
The CPU on the Mi Mix 2 is a Snapdragon 625 from Qualcomm which is an octa-core processor where each core has a clock speed of 2.0 GHz which is a 200Mhz bump up from Xiaomi's last years budget phones. The Mi Mix 2 comes with a 4GB RAM and in my opinion is pretty good under 17,000 rupees.
Battery
Now comes the highlighting feature of the Mi Mix 2. It comes with a whooping 5300 mAh battery. With Quick charge 3.0 technology or fast charging. The device can go from 0 to 68 percent of battery as Xiaomi claims. The best part is that the thickness and weight is close to same as seen in Mi Mix. It is increased by 0.1mm in thickness and 8g in weight.

The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 comes at 16,999 rupees for the 4GB variant.
Other Features and My Opinions
The Mi Mix 2 has a stereo speakers for better quality experience while watching movies and playing games. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 comes with Android 7.1.1 out of the box with MIUI on top of it and Google assistant. The Mi Mix 2 has a weight of 211 grams and in my opinion is quite hefty but keeping other features like the gigantic battery and display in mind Xiaomi has done a good job.
This phone is an absolute steal at 17,000 rupees if battery capacity is your priority. Other competitors like the Moto g5 plus are also good and offer stock android experience and you can also pick that. All in all its a really good device under a price tag of 17,000 rupees lets see how the Mi Mix 2 holds up with time!
