iPhone 8 Will the price be justified?
The iPhone 8 if rumours are to be believed is going to be really heavy on the pocket. The phone according to a report by Forbes is going to cost $1100 to $1200 for the 128GB and 256GB variants respectively.
The iPhone has now entered MacBook territory when it comes to price.
However the real question here is will Apple fans and target consumer be willing to pay a premium for the phone. Apple sales has decreased a lot this year which was not the case in any of the previous iPhones since the iPhone 2G. Will this be the second year of decline in iPhone sales? Or will it get back to the pace of increase in sales. When it comes to Apple fans and people who just love the iPhone and cannot think of an alternative to the iPhone they might just be willing to pay the premium Apple will be asking them to but when it come to people who want the best phone which can get their work done with ease I think they will definitely look at the slightly cheaper phones which could be the iPhone 7s/7s Plus or the likes of Samsung Note 8 or the Pixel 2 which are equally impressive in almost all areas. Companies like Oneplus are getting very close to competing the bigger players and probably beating them while doing everything at a much lower cost.
It will be interesting to see how the phone will perform after its launch with this price if rumours are to be believed.
That's it for now, Stay tuned for more!
Cheers!
